Access & facilities

The Library caters for all visitors, including people visting with children and those with a disability. Our facilities include free wireless internet access throughout the building, along with power points in all reading rooms. We also have a Readings bookshop and a lively cafe, Mr Tulk.

Lockers

Self-service lockers are available for large bags (including backpacks, handbags and laptop bags), food and drink (bottled water can be brought into some Library areas) and umbrellas (which can also be left with foyer security guards).

Locker charges

Standard lockers cost $1, larger lockers $2 and small lockers with a device (laptop, phone etc) charger cost $2 for four hours. Payment is cash only. A customer service officer is on hand each day to help with queries.

Access & facilities for disabled visitors

We have a customer service librarian available to help visitors with a disability and their carers, but all staff can help users with special needs to access the collection.
